I’m Dianne Vallier, a strategic creative director with 20+ years of experience building brands, leading teams, and delivering creative work that drives business results and builds community.

WHAT I DO
I lead creative strategy and execution across brand identity systems, omnichannel campaigns, product and merchandise design, and experiential marketing. I develop creative solutions that are both strategically smart and visually stunning. I mentor designers and lead creative teams while staying deeply involved in conceptual and execution work. I’m comfortable presenting brand strategy to stakeholders, directing photoshoots, creating custom illustrations, or mentoring a junior designer—because I believe the best creative comes from leaders who understand both the “why” and the “how.”

WHO I WORK WITH
I work with emerging creators building brands in digital-first spaces, established brands looking to evolve their identity, and organizations wanting to scale their creative capabilities. I’ve helped independent photographers, musicians, designers, and artists develop brands that connect with audiences. I’ve led national campaigns that captured cultural moments and drove measurable impact. I’ve mentored teams and managed creative production at scale.

MY APPROACH
I believe in the intersection of strategic vision and hands-on creative excellence. Visually stunning work without thoughtful strategy falls flat; great strategy without beautiful execution isn’t complete. I’m a collaborator first—the process of brainstorming and working with clients is as important as the final product. And I believe design should be smart, sharp, and a little bit fun.

A BIT ABOUT ME
I’ve been taking pictures since I was five years old (I’m never without a camera). I’m inspired by everything around me—not in a cliché way, but in a genuine, design-nerdy way. I believe anything we see or experience can be tied back to design. I love the moment when a brand identity clicks, when a campaign resonates, when a team member delivers brilliant work. I’m passionate about brands that bring people together.

I’ve been taking pictures all my life. My love of photography began at age five with a pint-sized, turquoise 110 film camera, and it’s only escalated from there. I’m never without a camera (usually two or three, if I’m honest).

What captivates me most is the way a single image can tell a story and convey emotion. Whether directing a photoshoot for a national campaign, shooting product and lifestyle photography for brand catalogs, or capturing authentic moments for storytelling—I’m passionate about creating images that resonate.

I bring the same strategic thinking to photography that I bring to all creative work: What story are we telling? Who are we telling it to? How do we make this image matter? The best photography isn’t just beautiful; it’s purposeful.
